SoCal Persian American Medical Association (SoCal PAMA) is an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to education, cultural preservation, and community enrichment. We bring together Persian-American healthcare professionals to share knowledge and deliver programs that benefit the wider community.
Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to promote education, preserve heritage, and strengthen community well-being. We provide educational events, cultural programs, and public outreach initiatives that are open to all. By offering continuing education (CME/CE) and public awareness programs, SoCal PAMA helps advance knowledge, cultural understanding, and lifelong learning.

Continuing Medical Education
SoCal PAMA organizes CME-accredited programs to ensure healthcare providers remain up to date on medical knowledge. These programs are open to both members and non-members, with the goal of advancing education and improving standards of professional practice.

In March 2016, SoCal Persian American Medical Association and our President, Bahman Bandari, MD, were awarded the Certificate of Congressional Recognition for its outstanding leadership and contribution to the medical community with sincere appreciation of it's commitment to patients and families.
