Eiman Firoozmand, MD FASCRS is an attending surgeon in the Division of Colorectal Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and a fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He was the Clinical Chief of the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery from 2007 to 2009 at Cedars Sinai Medical Center  in Los Angeles.

Dr. Firoozmand is a past member of the voluntary faculty at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Firoozmand’s main clinical and research interests involve optimizing outcomes and techniques in the treatment of colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and benign anorectal disease. These interests include the use of laparoscopic surgery and new techniques for hemorrhoidal surgery, such as the procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids (PPH).

Dr. Firoozmand is board certified in colorectal and general surgery. Dr. Firoozmand has written numerous articles for peer-reviewed publications including The American Surgeon, The Journal of Trauma, Surgical Laparoscopy & Endoscopy, Circulation Research and Circulatory Shock.

Dr. Firoozmand received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Davis and his medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and his fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the Keck School of Medicine at USC.
